Last Chance to Dine at 608 Dahlia Before Oct. 26
10.21.25
608 Dahlia, located within Sherman Library & Gardens in Corona del Mar, has announced that its final day of service will be Sunday, Oct. 26 — giving guests just a few more days to visit before the restaurant closes. After four wonderful years, the restaurant will close its doors as the landlord has chosen not to renew the lease.
Led by Chef Jessica Roy, 608 Dahlia has become known for its garden-to-table California cuisine inspired by its setting among the blooming flower streets and surrounding botanical gardens. The team expressed deep gratitude to the guests, partners and community who have supported the restaurant throughout its time in Newport Beach.
Chef Roy emphasized that this is not a farewell. She will open a new restaurant in Sunset Beach, where she will continue to evolve 608 Dahlia’s signature seasonal cooking and create a warm gathering space for events and celebrations.
Guests are encouraged to visit this week to experience 608 Dahlia one last time in its Sherman Library & Gardens setting.
Chef Jessica Roy and the 608 Dahlia team thank the community for being part of their story and look forward to welcoming everyone to their new home soon.

A Crystal Cove Takes Mimosa Brunch to the Next Level
10.21.25
A Crystal Cove is taking weekend brunch to the next level. The coastal-chic dining spot from River Jetty Restaurant Group has introduced an elevated mimosa cart experience that lets guests build their perfect glass with premium bubbles, vibrant juices and fresh garnishes.
Available every Saturday and Sunday, the custom mimosa cart is set up inside the restaurant and features options like Veuve Clicquot and Prosecco, paired with juices and liqueurs such as guava, passion fruit, orange, St-Germain and Chambord. Guests can top off their creations with fresh berries or citrus for a festive touch. It's a fun, interactive way to start brunch with a little extra sparkle.
The menu, led by Executive Chef Elvis Morales, is just as impressive. Standout dishes we loved included the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with blueberry compote and whipped cream, the Mexican Benedict with al pastor chorizo, avocado, poblano hollandaise and micro cilantro, and the Duck Confit Sopes with A5 wagyu refried beans, salsa verde, crème fraîche and queso fresco.
And, you can also choose from A Crystal Cove favorites such as Whipped Feta with blistered heirloom tomatoes, saffron honey, fresh basil, sumac, and house-made pita; Squash Blossoms with robiola, grilled baby squash, roasted yellow bell pepper sauce, and cotija; Lobster Cobb Salad with mixed greens, hard-boiled eggs, heirloom cherry tomatoes, sweet corn, avocado, bacon, feta, white balsamic vinaigrette, and avocado aioli; and A La Carte Steaks.
On Sundays, live music sets the tone for a laid-back, lively brunch that feels like a true weekend escape. Bottles of champagne are half off Friday through Sunday, making it even easier to celebrate with friends or family.
Brunch is served Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more details, visit arestaurantcc.com
